This project involves reusing the existing library building as a new Co-opperative store. The library is rehoused in a new first floor extension to the existing building. The two facilities share a common glazed entrance lobby, there is a library drop-off facility in the lobby. The new first floor library is to be constructed in lightweight construction materials, speeding up the construction process, to minimise the time the library is closed.
