Roost Architects is a leading architectural practice based in Ilkley, in the heart of West Yorkshire. At Roost Architects, our projects are country-wide with a focus on Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, York, Wharfedale, Wakefield, and North Yorkshire. Founded 14 years ago, Roost Architects specialises in Domestic Extensions, Alterations, Conversions, Restorations, and New Build Developments. Roost is also passionately involved in community and commercial developments as well as historical renovations.
Here at Roost, we make sure that creative, innovative design is at the heart of every project we undertake. But great design doesn't necessarily mean expensive design; by taking the time to properly consider your project's requirements, we aim to eradicate unnecessary expenditure, delivering the finished solution on time and on budget.

For many clients, working with an architect is a new experience and to this end, we regard design as a two-way process between you as the client and ourselves. We will work closely with you to develop your scheme to a point where we can fine-tune the design with our associated consultants, always with the goal of delivering exciting, enriching architecture.

We use physical models, hand-drawing, specialist computer programs and 3D rendering software to allow our clients to envisage their projects during the design phase. This helps gather further understanding of the project beyond just the standard plans.
