Roost Architects and Planners is a new Ilkley architects practice. We specialise in domestic and small commercial projects, new build, refurbishment and extensions, from concept to completion.

All of our staff have extensive experience within the construction industry, from major commercial and educational projects to small, bespoke domestic schemes. We are registered Architects (RIBA), Town Planners (MRTPI) and Architectural Technologists (MCIAT).

Our associates include sustainability consultants, interior designers and a 3D imaging team. We work in partnership with Structural Engineers, and Building Control, to ensure your project runs smoothly and efficiently. We carry full professional indemnity insurance (PI).

We believe that creative, innovative design is at the core of every project we undertake. Good design doesn’t necessarily mean expensive design. By taking the time to properly consider our Client’s requirements, we aim to eradicate unnecessary expenditure by our Clients, whilst delivering exciting, enriching architecture.

For many Clients, working with an Architect is a new experience. We regard design as a two way process between the Client and the Architect, and we work with you to develop your scheme to a point where we can fine tune the design with our associated Consultants.

Our services range from drawings only for planning and building regulations approval, to a full architectural service including tendering to contractors and overseeing the project on site.
